If during you stay, you remain solely at our sport centre and the national parks and do not venture south or east of Nairobi (Mombasa, Kilimanjaro etc.), a malaria prophylaxis course is not necessary in our view. The highlands of Kenya are free of malaria thanks to their high altitude and the associated climate.
We do of course have first aid equipment available at the sports centre should basic medical care be necessary during your stay, and the Kijabe Mission Hospital is located just 30 minutes away. The hospital has a reputation as one of the best equipped hospitals in Kenya and so we can guarantee the best possible treatment should an emergency arise.
