Experience the Kenyan way

Running shoulder to shoulder with an international marathon winner, improving your running technique with young Kenyan athletes of the future, motivating each other and exchanging anecdotes at the dining table while enjoying Kenyan culinary delights or simply playing volleyball or football in the evening sun with your new friends: You can experience all of this and more at the run2gether running camps. Whether you are young (from 12 years) or old, fast or slow, everyone who is interested in running and in Kenyan culture is most welcome!

Beginning with the evening meal on Sunday, we spend the whole week together before going our separate ways on the following Saturday after breakfast, a parting which is often hard for most.

TEST THE KENYAN WAY….

Experience the Kenyan way… are you interested but do not have enough time to spend a whole week at a running camp? No problem! Test the Kenyan way… here is something just for you – a shorter stay during the summer months:

A Taster Day with arrival in the morning up until 10.00, then morning training and stretching, followed by a light lunch and relaxing regeneration. Later in the afternoon intense activity starts up in our kitchen and you can enjoy this too if you want to see how the evening meal is being prepared. However, just before this there is the small matter of an easy 30 minute run on the programme. And after replenishing your energy with the authentic Kenyan evening meal, you can return home after spending an interesting and rewarding day with us.

2-night Package with arrival in the evening (Mon, Tue, Wed) and you get the chance straightaway to experience authentic Kenyan food. Then you enjoy two days of running training, Kenyan food, relaxation and the chance to make new friends. If you arrive on Wednesday (a tip from us) you can also take part in the run2gether Challenge on Friday.

From our experience of the running weeks over the last three summers, we would recommend if at all possible that you join us for the full week as it usually takes a couple of days before the ice breaks and the contact with our Kenyan athletes becomes more intensive and real friendships then form.
