Building blocks for the Sports Centre
The realisation of the Mount Longonot Sports & Recreation Centre in Kenya is a key element of our project. The centre will not only be a facility where our Kenyan athletes, all members of the “run2gether Kenya“ team and registered with the Athletics Kenya federation, can stay free of charge while preparing for upcoming races in Europe as well as being the venue for our training camps, but it will also serve to strengthen the sense of community among all the members of run2gether as well as helping to raise their sporting performance levels.
European guests at the sports centre will be assisted by team members in their training and leisure activities during their stay at the centre and the majority of the accommodation costs that our guests will pay for their stay (at a price of € 25 per day for full board) will directly benefit the Kenyan athletes.
Your purchase of a building block will help to accelerate the repayment of construction loans and help to build a stable, financial platform for the run2gether project.
Three different categories of building block are available for purchase:
- normal building block – € 20.-
- silver building block – € 50.-
- gold building block – € 100.-
One building block gives you one day’s full-board accommodation at our sports centre in Kenya including Kenyan tee, training advice, tips on how to plan your training and the best care from our athletes even when not training!
Ensure a fantastic stay for one day at the Sport Centre for only € 20 per day (instead of the normal price of € 25) by buying a building block. The more building blocks you buy, the more you can save!
Note: A maximum of 50% of your accommodation costs can be paid with building block vouchers.
